Hello and welcome to my site!
My name is Tom Valerio. I’m a Brooklyn-based music producer, recording/mixing engineer, and production sound mixer. I’ve been making and recording a whole lot of noise for over ten years now.
I would love to work on your project in any capacity: recording, mixing, mastering, songwriting and performing, or as a producer using a combination of these skills. My approach involves meeting the artist where they are in their process and helping them to move forward and develop their sound. We can develop a loose idea into a full track, re-record and fill out a demo recording, put the final touches on a fully realized track, or anything in between. My personal musical style generally includes loud, shoegaze-inspired walls of guitars and/or synths; bowed guitars, basses, and banjoes; and freeform song structure based in hypnotic repetition.
In the film world I am primarily a production sound mixer and boom operator, but also have experience in post-audio and scoring. I’m always looking for work in this space so please feel free to reach out.
